Mississauga drinks Lake Ontario water treated by Peel Region, and it is moderately hard at 120 to 130 mg/L. More than a quarter of Mississauga homes are suites in tall apartment buildings, and many more are condo townhouses. In most high-rise suites, heating and cooling come from a fan coil served by the building's own plant, so a building-wide problem is the condominium corporation's to fix. Townhouses and suites with their own furnace, air conditioner or water heater are different: that equipment is yours, and we service it like any house. Where a corporation has rules about outdoor units, we work within them.
